Default Oxford Dental

It was recently posted by a member to stay away from Oxford Dental as they don't know what they are doing. Does anyone have experience with this group? I have an appt. in 2 weeks and am getting a little nervous even though a relative went there for a cleaning, filling and a cap and had a good experience; no complaints. Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Our Dental Insurance Provider also suggested them. My husband went and had his teeth cleaned. No charge per our insurance. He was pleased with the cleaning. I needed some work at a dental specialist and when I said our primary dentist was Oxford, they more or less said to stay away from them. It IS confusing, and I too would like to know the story.

There does not seem to be much against them from the Better Business Bureau-- http://centralflorida.bbb.org/SearchRep.html

Thanks so much for the responses. I guess I'll take my chances & hopefully will have a good experience. I still welcome comments from anyone else who may have had dealings with them. Thanks.

Well, I just returned from my first visit to Oxford Dental. From the time I arrived to the time I walked out the door, only 2 hours had elapsed (not too bad). I had a complete set of x-rays which were explained, doctor's exam., one filling and a cleaning. The staff was very professional. They did not try to sell me any unnecessary services or cosmetic dentistry. The waiting room is definitely too small and the exam areas are a little tight. That is my only complaint. Other than that, I am satisfied with Oxford Dental.
