They are Protestant/Christians and not so different from the rest of the population, as far as religion goes. Anyway, the study was not a psychological or religious study, it was a dietary/lifestyle study. The study, when I looked it up, had the following heading: U.S. Study of Adventists finds vegetarians live longer. That was the finding of the study.
