I hate No-See-Ums. I am one of those people who attract all kinds of bugs. If I am in a group I am the one who will be bit. Most of the time it is on my ankles and legs.

I have recently been bothered by them too. Small itchy bites on the ankles and arms. I think I got bit walking through some grassy area.

Here is a detailed explanation about No-See-Ums and how to treat.

I would also bet on no see ums. When we first moved here we used to sit out front in the evening. I had such a reaction to these I learned in FL I can't do that without a screen. It took weeks before they went away. Hubby was not bit as bad but I sure suffered. Hope your reaction is better than mine. Live & Learn.

Your Doctor can likely identify what is biting you by looking at the bites and their pattern. Someone mentioned bed bugs. Fortunately, we've never had them but if you look on the internet there are videos showing you where to look for them. What we call bed bugs are actually the same as chinch bugs that are likely in your lawn and all places you visit. Point is they are easy to pick up and move to your home.

You did not say if it is only you being bitten or are there others in your home. It could be a contact with one of the MANY PLANTS around here that people have a reaction to.
Poison ivy-I've not had it in years but the bumps it produces look very much like insect bites. There are many other plants that cause similar rashes?

IF, it is insects-try rubbing your skin with citrus-a lemon skin works fine. See if it stops the bites. Unlike DEET there is no side effects. I would not, you should not, use DEET on a regular basis. Also, if, you have not torn the bites open by scratching try dabbing them with AMMONIA-same stuff you buy in the grocery store. It works great. If you buy one of those itch stop products, most likely you will see it smells like ammonia because that is what it is. If, you have torn the bites open-it will hurt-
