I would recommend seeing Dr. Juan Albino, The Village Sleep Lab, to be tested for Sleep Apnea which
is nothing to ignore and safer than a self treatment.
His office is adjacent to The Villages Hospital and his number is 751-4955.

Aren't there some types of nose strips that men can buy at the Drugstore that are supposed to stop snoring? I just use ear plugs if it gets annoying.

DH used these for a while and they worked well, but got costly compared to the paper tape.

Re the Marpac ... it has no timer and I just let it go all night. Two speeds which regulate the volume. I've tried many of the cheaper sound machines and they break or have odd clicks and skips in the sound. the Marpac is smooth white noise. Around $50.
