Battery Boys are most likely the best,They come to your house and install them, put on all new cables, take the old ones for you (no charge)They have different brands also & have serviced the Villages for a long time.
Not so for me unfortunately. I had continuous flashing on the screen and could not open many programs. Could not click on any drop down menus because of the consistent flashing. Went on line and it seems that this is a common problem and tried the various fixes suggested. To no avail. May be incompatible with Norton. I finished up going back to Windows 8. Too busy at this time of the year to try and correct it.
Backup your entire hard drive PLEASE! Some people love it, some hate it. I have come across a few customers that upgraded from 7 and has had a world of troubles, luckily we did an image of the entire HD before upgrading. As a Windows 8.1 owner, my upgrade went well however if I wish to downgrade back to 8.1 it's not possible because 10 messed up my ability to do a factory recovery. As I said, so far I've had no problems, but the fact that it messed up my ability to reset (Windows 10 gives you I think 30 days to go back, after that, the ability to do so is gone) my computer has not made me a happy camper. There are freeware disk imaging programs out there, I used one from techsupportalert.com and worked great. Keep your piece of mind and get a usb external hd and use the image software to backup all partitions, that way, you know you're good. Thanks, David.
