The most important thing to check is the spear (the newest center growth).
• If the spear is firm, that’s a great sign and usually means the palm will recover.
• If it’s soft or mushy, the palm may need extra care and monitoring.
Next Steps for Recovery:
Hold off on heavy pruning. Even damaged fronds help protect the growing point and continue providing energy while the palm recovers.
Cold stress can interfere with nutrient uptake. Apply a Palm Nutritional Spray to supply essential micronutrients directly to the foliage.
Use a Root Stimulator to encourage healthy root recovery and new growth.
Apply F-Stop to help prevent or treat fungal issues that stressed Robellini palms may develop after a freeze.

Freeze Warning: With a freeze warning for Thursday and Friday please be sure to disconnect any outside garden hoses from your hose bib. Then, be sure to wrap all of your outside hose bibs with a towel or hose bib cover. If not, there is a good chance your hose bib will freeze which could then damage the water line going to your hose bib.

Please don't confuse bad reviews for Jose Diaz landscaping with Jose Lacayo landscaping. I have used Jose Lacayo for the last three years for trimming my tall palms. His team always does a very good job. I recently had them trim my palms right before the last hurricane. Today they were passing by and saw a few palm fronds which were broken and hanging down due to the storm, they stopped by and cut those fronds down without me calling and for no charge. He always has a team of at least 4 men.
