I moved from The Villages six years ago (grandchildren!). I still miss it terribly. I’m coming for a visit in a few weeks with three friends. Are there any good places to eat that I might not know about?

THANK YOU for the nice welcome message. Sorry it took us so long to respond. We are still learning how to use this forum. We moved to Ohatchee, Alabama (Rainbow City/Southside/Gadsden area) from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia three years ago, so we haven't lived in Alabama a long time. It is so beautiful here in the country with lakes and mountains. We will be moving to The Villages during the month of April and once we can catch our breath, will give you a shout!

My son is in 9th grade now and his name is Leland. His girlfriend's name is Jane. I know this may sound kinda corny but I just had to tell you. Im so many, many years away from retiring, (probably 8-10) but I know I want to be a part of TV. We did the preview program December 4-9 and we plan to return March 19 to visit again. The place is GREAT!
