Roof Replacement Experience – 2/26 - Terry Johncock - Hadley
It was time for us to replace our roof. We interviewed three roofing companies and chose Sky Light Roofing. Several neighbors in Hadley had recently used them and were satisfied. They also have a local office in Wildwood (352-552-4766).
Of the three quotes, Sky Light was right in the middle. Their salesman, Brent, was by far the most informative. I’ve always believed a good salesperson is also a good teacher—and he definitely was.
They told us the job would be scheduled about 5 weeks out, and they arrived exactly on schedule.
Installation of a tube light
Removal of a solar heater panel
Both were handled without any problems.
Arrival time was set for 6:20 a.m. for job prep—and at 6:20 a.m. on the scheduled day, they were here.
The job was completed on time, all debris was thoroughly cleaned up, and we’re very happy with the work.
Great experience overall.

The material was delivered on the scheduled date, and they showed up the next day an installed the new roof. Their clean up was impeccable, in fact property seriously looked cleaner after they left —We had five other estimates that ranged from $23,000.00 to 26,000.00, and after three other friends recommended Skylight Roofing we called for a sixth estimate. When Brent Maloy with Skylight Roofing arrived and made a relaxed and brief presentation, he presented an already priced out contract that was about 25% cheaper then the other estimates for the same material and warranty.
