I would like to know the reason why people of The Villages need to bring their dogs who are not registered therapy dogs, to the grocery stores? I love dogs, but , I feel that if they are not a therapy or support dog, they do not belong in a store. I've seen people with multiple size dogs on a retractable leash, being under foot, and not controlled by their owner. Socialization of your pet does not belong in stores. If you need to take them to a store, take them to the pet store, where they allow it. There are signs at the doors of stores that only allow service dogs.
