Multiple your estimate by 10, there are way more than 150 pool tables in the villages. (6-8 at every rec center)

Note that my estimate in Post No. 19 was about the cost for the chalk, not the number of pool tables in The Villages. There are more than 150 tables, but they are not fully used. Many tables are not in use all the time, and often, rec centers are closed for maintenance.

But, your estimate is way off. There are nowhere near 1500 pool tables in The Villages. I estimate that there may be about 200 to 220 tables. Typically, the only rec centers with pool tables are the Village rec centers that typically have 6 tables each. There are approximately 36 Village rec centers. But a few only have 1 or 2 tables, such as Trillium and Fenney. And, Chula Vista only has 5 tables. Two rec centers have 8 tables, which are Silver Lake and La Hacienda.

As I said, the Village rec centers have pool tables. The Regional rec centers do not, with the exception of La Hacienda, which is somewhat of a hybrid.

Some recreation centers have 1 pool table. Some have zero pool tables.

IMO only way to know that get rec center guide from a rec center and count them looking for 8 ball symbol. I did first 4 or pages found several that did and didn’t.

Well you could say we are paying with our amenities fees….

ARe you over exaggerating on purpose 150 million?????

Rec department brought 5000 dozen for around 100 thousand for year and has always furnished pickleballs. just like rotating flowers out 4 times year.

Some move here for golf which require Millions year to upkeep and maintain courses. Some move here for pickleball which only cost is pickleball balls cause the villages elected to furnish them. Bottom line we have no control how villages districts spend our amenities fees.
