A classy statement from an even classier guy.

Default New York Jets Talk

Not sure how many draft choices but it seems this will be a great fit.
Their new offensive coach began the wildcat in Miami and the JETS did not use it much last year after the departure of Brad Smith.

Defensive coaches will now have two QBs to worry about. This could be very interesting....

I don't see how those two guys can "get along." The Jets bought into Sanchez as their franchis QB, then along comes Tebow. I don't think either of them will accept a wildcat role.

Nice idea when it comes to team offense though........

Default Tebow

#1 Mark Sanchez is not a wildcat QB
#2 I don't think either QB will actually be upset. They are there to win
JETS gave up really nothing in draft picks for him. They'll drive other teams crazy. Bring on those PATS!
#3 Trade has hit a snag. JETS want Broncos to pay $5 mil to Tebow.
#4 To be contiued

Default What a crock !!

Seems that a $5 million price for the rights to negotiate with TT was not disclosed.

So, don't count your chickens...... well, you know the rest.......

Hopefully, they won't hatch. Callers on WFAN are voicing "displeasure" of Tebow becoming a JET.

I agree. The JEYTS don't need h9im. The announcers on WFAN are not giving positive statements!

Default Tebow

Spoke to my son (lives in NY) to listen to the Fan and let me know what New Yorkers had to say. TOTV beat him to it! Very good!

I still stand on my initial reaction. I think it will be good for the team.
I guess they'll they'll want Tannenbaum and Ryan's head next.

Well time will tell if they get him...

Being a Dolphin fan I was worried when I heard they were interested in Tobow. That ment if they got him then I'd have to go to my second choice team to rout for, the Steelers. I couldn't ever see myself pulling for a Gator.

Default Late breaking news

Apparently out just minutes ago, the Jets got him for $2.5 mil and 2 draft picks.

I guess the chickens just hatched.

WNBC - NY sportscaster Bruce Beck says, "Let the circus begin."

Broadway Joe Namath says, "What were they thinking ?"

The Jets G.M. just said, "We just changed our backup quarterback."

Yeah, right........
