Post Tebow to Patriots

Can hardly believe this is true. The last thing I read in the newspaper was that Bill Bellichick cannot stand Tim Tebow. How can this happen?

Sorry, not a Tebow fan, so I can understand Bellichick not being thrilled with having him on the team -- I've read that he's caused some dissension. Plus, he just hasn't lived up to his perceived potential. And I can't think of a better team for Tim -- will just give me another reason to not root for the Pats.

(I guess I better start ducking but I'm a Dolfan and have been since '68. Second-fave team is the 49ers. So, no way can I ever like the Pats; at least not in this lifetime.)

They are looking for a quality back up for Brady and still be able to stay under the salary cap. Probably Tebow is the best available for the money. If anyone can get him back on track it will be Bill and Tom.

From a 20+ year Pats season ticket holder:

Bill LOVES Tebow and always has. They almost considered drafting him if he hadn't gone so high.

Ryan Mallett is the next QB if Brady goes down - not Tebow. Bill really likes Mallett. Mallett has a great arm and a couple of years under his belt working with Brady.

Tebow is a no dissention, no risk play. If, IF, he earns a spot he will play whatever and wherever Bill tells him to with no talk back. Yes Sir is all he will say.

Moss worked out great until he wore out his welcome and Tebow has a chance. Probably not as a starting QB but a chance to make an impact. Quality guy.

At least that is my opinion and I can go to work later this week and tell everyone I "told you so". I knew Bill loved him.

Have you seen the Pats record against the Jets? Don't think we need the playbook.

Being a loyal Pat fan ... If Belllacheck cannot bring a real man out of him .....Tim has too many shoulders to lean on .... I would have loved to seen him way over the border!!!

I've been a Patriots fan for fifty years. I used to live about 7 miles from Gillette Stadium. I was shocked to hear this. I'm wondering what Belichick has in mind. It's going to be interesting.
I don't understand it from Tebow's perspective. He was unhappy with the Jets because he wasn't getting enough playing time. Unless Belichick intends to use him as a receiver or DB or unless Brady goes down, he won't get a single snap with the Patriots. Even if he beats out Mallet for the number two spot, Brady does not like to come out of games and Belichick lets him have his way. Even with a 57-6 lead, Brady has stayed in.
Bill Belichick may be the greatest football coach whoever lived and I have learned to trust his judgement even though at times he seems to have gone insane. There is some kind of method behind this seeming madness.

Probably closer than most people think. Patriots 55-52-1. NE has the edge but nothing feels better than to rub NE fans noses in it now and then.

I am not a fan of either Pats or Jets-----Da Bears! But I like Tebow and too bad Chicago didn't give him a chance as a backup to Cutler.
