I am going radical here. Mew picks:

Cowboys at Vikings - Cowboys
Jets at Chargers - Chargers
Cards at Saints - Cards
Ravens at Colts - Ravens

Okay so my radical picks were too radical.

After watching these games (Jets/ Chargers yet to go), I wonder where the offense went for the losing teams. Down by 10 or 20 they throw short passes or go to a running play. Why? If I was down by 20 and in the third and fourth quarter I think that long passes or at least 20 yard passes should be the norm.

Oh well, I had no dogs in the fight so I will wait until next week.

well, got 3 out of 4, the Jets fooled me but I should have seen that one coming. I'm not much of a Norv Turner fan and less so now. The Jets really looked motivated! congrats to them.

6 out of 8 for 2 weeks, I guess I'll take it.

4 for 4 this week. Jets are playing good ball control football but I m afraid they will come up short next week. Much as I like Favre, I am going with the Saints. Just feel that city deserves it.Don't think the Jets can stop Manning like they did Rivers today

3 out 4 for last week and 6 out of 8 so far. OK, now for next week. My head says Saints, my heart says Vikings.

So Vikings over Saints
Colts over Jets.

schotzbyb,

well I think you're the leader of the pack with 7 of 8,
3 games to go, a few of us with 6 of 8 (*&^%$ chargers and packers).
Good pick on the Jets.

Who's it gonna be this week?

I didn't vote this year. Actually missed the post; not around too much. I really thought that San Diego would choke and boy did they.

I think Brett will knock off NO, but if Vikings don't improve on running game, it may go to NO. Love both teams, but have a dream of Brett going all the way. Then he can retire in peace.

Love Payton so Colts would be my 2nd choice to take the whole thing if Brett goes down.

Default Saints and Colts next weekend.

These two teams should be in the Superbowl.

6 of 8 so far

this weekend should be interesting:

Saints- The old guy runs out of gas
Colts- Can't see the Jets stopping Peyton after what they did to the Ravens

Not sure my picks were visable enough in my first post so I am going with the ---Saints beat the Vikings and the Colts beat the Jets.

Though considering myself a well informed football fan, my past prognosticating performance makes it is obvious I have no idea what the hell I'm doing:

Vikings and Colts.
