We have them on the North side also… live in the street drains during the day, reproduce at night! Not a problem until neighbors start feeding them.

If there are feral cats in your area, please contact a cat rescue group or contact Cat Crazy Villagers (see the club's Facebook page). They will trap, neuter and either release the cat into a feral cat colony or place it in foster care. Many of the so called feral cats are actually pets whose owner abandoned them.

I can not tell from photo if their left ear has been tipped. If you trap a feral cat the international sign that a feral has been neutered or spayed is a left ear that has been tipped or top of ear slightly cut straight across. This allows people to know the cat will not have any more kittens or be a dad again and leave them alone. I have a feral cat for 7 years that I trapped and feed now. No more hungry or unwanted kittens.

When we moved here in 2009, there were feral cats over by the Havana Country Club. Don't think they're there anymore---probably rounded up and taken away.
