We were driving along on one of the hilly streets amongst the mansions when we came upon Granny Clampett and a whole TV crew shooting a scene for The Beverly Hillbillies. When she saw my grandma in the car she ran over, reached inside, and shook her hand vigorously totally in character. We were all so excited, especially my grandma. It was the highlight of her visit with us that summer.
