Default This Crow plays hide-and-seek with the Eagle (photos by Sam Boatman)

This morning: This was actually funny. I took over 100 pics of this one crow "playing" with a bald eagle. In this one tree (no nest involved), the crow was much more agile. Over half the time, the eagle was reacting to where the crow was last, instead of where he was at that instant. Had to have been there to fully appreciate.

Not an even match - even the crow realizes that.

Incredible photos. That crow really wanted the eagle gone, the crow may have a nest nearby.

Great pictures as always.
Last night on PBS, on “Nature”, was a show on Raptor birds. Very good. I think next Wednesday is a 2nd chapter. Some of the birds found here were featured

Great pics. Ha. The crow is toying with the unsuspecting eagle. Crows are much smarter than eagles and can make great pets.

One of the most famous movie stars in the world from the 1930s to 1950s was Jimmy, a raven, appearing in over 1000 films and trained to perform all kinds of stunts.

We have always enjoyed watching the ravens in the North Woods. Very clever creatures.
