The Village of St Johns has already named him Ricky. This rec center is in St John’s, so they talk about him and share photos in their FB group. We went to see him at dusk last night but he was already off to bed somewhere. We did see a lively owl family in an oak tree with two large owlets flapping their wings on the side of the nest while mom and dad were in nearby trees keeping watch. The parents eventually flew off to hunt over in Richmond across Meggison, so we left too because the bugs were getting buggy.

Thank you! Great pictures and the pic with the open mouth showing teeth is a tough picture to get. Great job. Quite a set of teeth on these guys.
