I never rooted for or against him in the past, but I probably will watch to see how he does on his return.

Yes I will. His personal problems are his business and I hope they won't affect his Golf game.

Without him Golf will be less interesting.

Don't watch golf or know anything about it, but I will root for him now as a man, a husband and a father. He deserves another chance, IMO...

Unfortunately, he screwed up big time, but, it's his life. I hope he can get things worked out. I love watching him golf & that won't change.

I am not sure why this is a problem. We watch Tiger for his golfing ability. Is anyone going to quit going to Mel Gibson movies because of what he did? Do we care that any of these actors and actresses have bounced from spouse to spouse and ruined other families?

It is the same with sports figures.

What is the difference?

I've never rooted for him - he wins more than his share without needing my support. But on the other hand, if he's not in a tournament, I generally don't bother to watch, so I guess you could say I'm a fan of sorts. I have a feeling there are a lot of other "Tiger fans" out there who feel the same way I do. The game of golf needs him - tournament golf without Tiger is like watching paint dry. Unless, of course, Phil is in contention . . .

reguardless of what did or did not happen, he is the best. He puts so much into the game. Really enjoy watching him play. It will be rough on his first outing with the media and all hounding him. but i am sure he will make it thru and possibly even win 1st match back. It is his business not mine.

I've always had a problem with Tiger's attitude. He never seems to enjoy the game and is cavalier with fans but I do enjoy watching him play since he is a superb golfer. Unfortunately he has yet to tame his inner demons.

I started watching golf when Tiger came into the game. He is always fun to watch-winning or losing. I hope he can bring his life back to a good place and will be back soon. I'm pulling for him. I can't wait to watch again. Unfortunately, it will be a long time, if ever, before I can see him for the golfer I always have admired without thinking about his moral failures.

If I could, would I root for:

Babe Ruth to hit a home run?
Ty Cobb to steal a base?
Enrico Caruso to sing another opera?
Leonado DaVinci to sculp another masterpiece?
Michaelangelo to paint another ceiling?
Wilt Chamberlain to score another 100?
Abe Lincoln to make another speech?
Elvis to sing another song?
Houdini to escape another entrapment?
Richard Petty to win another race?
Mother Theresa to bless another soul?

Yeah, I think I'll root for ole Tiger!
