Kuchar seems like a great guy (and probably is) but then a lot of golfers and non-golfers thought Tiger was a great guy too.

Problem is---we don't "really know" these celebrities. Far too many have disappointed us when it comes to their values and morals. And that is too bad especially for the children who look up to their sports hero.

Um, here's one who doesn't love him. Don't play golf, don't follow golf. Have no clue who the guy is (but am happy to take your word that he is a good guy). Sorry.

Well, "love" is a bit over the top. I'm really just getting to know him. But, yes, he is certainly a fan favorite and a great face for the game of golf. He is what I think all professional athletes should be. He is truly grateful to be blessed with the talent and drive to work that has gotten him where he is and he doesn't seem to forget that. He also appreciates the fans without whom, he wouldn't be making a living doing what he does.
Phil Mickelson is the same way and Payne Stewart was also. I've had the pleasure to be around the tour on an up close basis and a lot of those guys would be better off to take a lesson on life from Messrs. Kuchar, Mickelson and Stewart.
