The supposed cheating was reported in the Daily Mail online, which, according to Wikipedia, is a tabloid news source. I would take anything from that "news" source with a grain of salt. It has had numerous libel lawsuits lodged against it, and some of the successful ones include actress Dianna Rigg and actor Nicholas Cage, Elton John, writer J. K. Rowling. In 2014 the MailOnline admitted having published an entirely false story about George Clooney and the family of his fiancée. None of us have any way of knowing the facts. Innocent until proven guilty, unless you're a Tiger hater of course. Then you can just assume the worst.

Other sources have given it enough credibility to report it also. Given his past history hard not to believe. Some will always believe the worse and some will never care to see him for the person he is. Don't hate him at all, just don't respect him

All the news reports refer back to the story from the tabloid Daily Mail online. This does not give the story credibility. This is the news media jumping on an unsubstantiated story because it is attention grabbing. Before Clooney got married the same type of thing happened, for which the Daily Mail had to issue a formal apology. Any reputable news source will meticulously check facts and confirm with multiple sources. That hasn't happened in this case. I think it is pretty interesting that people are drawn to these sensationalist stories about celebrities and are willing to believe just about anything.

Washingtonpost.com Special Report: Clinton Accused

I always thought "{FORMER PRESIDENT SO THIS DOESN'T GET DELETED"} made one of the most honest and revealing statements a man could make.

I think ordinary looking wealthy and powerful men [and women I suppose] have admirers throwing themselves all the time. Chris Rock makes a joke about it in his act. "you are as faithful as your options".
You are absolutely 100% correct. It's a major problem on the PGA tour. I have several friends who have played the tour and they've told me that there are women who throw themselves at the player every day. The more successful and famous a player becomes, the more of a problem it is.

That's not to excuse anyone's behavior. Wrong is wrong. But it can be very difficult for many of those guys to resist temptation and a daily basis. That's one of the reasons that so many of them attend bible study groups.

Tiger's worst behavior was hiring multiple prostitutes at a time for his own private group sex sessions. Not exactly a fan throwing herself at him. I believe he was a winning pro before he got married. If he wanted to partake in the "fruits of his profession", maybe he should have stayed single and not had children until he was tired of that life.

You could say that about a lot of men. I think the icing on the cake was Newt Gingrich having an affair with an intern while married to his second wife, and at the same time was leading the impeachment of the former president for perjury regarding an affair with his intern Monica Lewinsky. Petraeus is another recent example of cheating. The list is endless.

The point is, why pick on Tiger over something he may or may not have done recently? We're well aware of what went on in the past. He went to therapy, apologized publicly and moved on. If he did cheat on Vonn, which is just a tabloid story at present, it isn't like he is doing something that millions of other men haven't done, many of these men who are political heavyweights, or well known celebrities.

So am I held to a higher standard because I don't travel in Tiger's or Newt's circles? Thus you believe I have not had temptation thrown at me in my life and if so I would have buckled?

I find it irritating that people are so quick to believe the worst in someone based on a tabloid report. If you haven't ever used poor judgement, lied, cheated, or made mistakes in your life, then I guess you are an exception. Pat yourself on the back with a wet noodle.

Well maybe if the lines moved a little quicker in Publix we wouldn't be reading all those tabloids.

I can see the out of bounds stake getting pretty close.

Are you watching this train wreck again ? This is embarrassing. What's with the stripe on the back of his shirt ? Looks like a skunk.
