Tierra Del Sol has a fantastic brunch as well as Hacienda. Tierra also has a huge draw for their early bird dinner after brunch so it does not surprise me that is what you experienced.....controlling food cost is an important part of running a business....and GUARANTEE you will not find home made pastries fresh out of the oven better in the Villages then Tierra's..... I agree, you should have got a reduced price if they did not "replenish" the choices...

If they where asking full price then the food should be the same from open to close. No excuse.

...before I sit down at a brunch, I always look at the foods on the buffet line to make sure it looks hot and plentiful, and like something I will enjoy.
If it doesn't, I will leave. Maybe that is just me -but it seems to work just fine. Never disappointed that way! |

We go there often after golf on Sunday Mornings. We also go to Little Bit's, Bob Evans, TooJays, Katie Belles, Sonrise Caf, Evans Prairie, Panera's, Amelia's at the Waterfront, Perkins,IHOP and the pool area at Nancy Lopez. After braving disappointment on the golf course a nice hot cup of coffee and something tasty shared with friends and Helene and Sweetie takes away the pain. I am blessed that there are two things I can do fairly well. One of them is cook. I am pleased to eat out with friends and enjoy whatever it is that is placed before me. Sometimes it is JUST WONDERFUL and sometimes not so great. You never know if the guy in the kitchen has a hangover. Life continues. But for thirteen dollars I do understand that not having something nice is not very happy making. That is a LOT to pay for a breakfast. Gracie the frugal.
