Honey Pot even park US27 Claremont. Evenings Tuesday only all-you-can-eat. Take cash. Be prepared for a bit of a line. Second helping grab a red tray to jump the line.

I have napkins in my golf cart for when I have to have my Publix fried chicken fix.
Get it early when fresh...outstanding.

There is absolutely no doubt! McCall's fried chicken is cooked to order and the best in the Villages!

As for any of the supermarkets selling " fried chicken " the first step is learning how to present fried chicken is to cut chicken into the pieces which were intended to be fried. They have not mastered that. Leave the " fried chicken " , or what ever animal it is in the case, and buy a chicken which can be properly cut up and fried without invoking the thought of genetics experiments run amok.

Cracker Barrel??? Gee diners would have to be carried out of there.

The last time we ate there (somewhere in FL) we were served Swedish pancakes that were swimming in melted butter. We reminded the waitress of the cholesterol problem. She said it was what senior citizens wanted - everything as possible to be covered with melted butter.

When I first moved here the Cotillion had fried chicken on their menu. It was a flattened chicken breast fried in a pan. It wasn't until I discovered McCall's that I got the southern fried chicken that I enjoyed up north.
