I've never been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn't have soup. That is until I came to Panda Express. For that reason I will not go back.

If it is a choice between a Quarter Pounder, a Whopper or the Black Pepper Chicken at Panda Express it would be Panda Express every time. My only complaint is they use the word "Express" in their name but the time it takes at the drive thru is anything but Express. I have passed them by at times because it takes too long to get my food and get gone. Not being retired I don't have all day to wait for "fast food".

There are several versions of Chinese food depending on the area of China. Panda Express serves a variety of Chinese dishes. Most are good and they will let you sample any entree before you buy.

Tried it once when it first opened and both hubby and I felt crappy for about 24 hours. Needless to say, we have not been back. The lunch specials at China Gourmet at Colony Plaza are very good values. We like the food, whether or not one considers it " great" Chinese food or not. The owners are very nice, let us substitute a soft drink for egg roll or soup, at no additional charge. They are doing a lot right in order to keep customers coming in the door.

Yes, you are definitely entitled to your opinion on any restaurant - just as I am entitled to mine. If you want absolutely great Asian food, try X'ia Shou in Miami. It is a favorite place of mine whenever beginning or ending a cruise.

No need to comment the supreme authority has spoken. Yep, will drive to Miami just for Chinese Best Chinese I have had is Road kill RAT soup.

IT IS THE PANDA EXPRESS NEAR HOME DEPOT ON RTE. 441

It has a open kitchen amosphere, so it is easy to determine the very clean food prep area. They have inside, outside and crry out dining. Service is great. ASt least once a week my wife and I share the three entree selection, this is ample food for two people and only cost $8.64 including tax.
I don't understand how the sharing works. You order food for one person and it's enough for two? Do you both eat out of the same dish? What about utensils, napkins and water? Are there enough vegetables for two or do you basically fill up on meat?

I like Panda Express, too. If one of their selections is low and seems like it's been sitting in the steam tray a while, they'll make you a fresh batch by request. I think it's better than most of the Chinese food available around here, although I know my sister disagrees.

Food preferences and taste are so individualized and personal it's just not possible to generalize. I do sympathize with VillagesFlorida's bad experience -- I got sick once after eating at Red Lobster and will never go back there.

Actually, you take it home and use two plates and separate utensils and share the meal. And yes - at our age, most Chinese dishes are enough for two.

Actually Panda is too far away. We like Shang Hai in Mulberry.

Never disappointed in their offerings.

Thanks! I was wondering if I could share a meal with my ladyfriend. But when we go out to eat, we want to eat out. We don't eat over each other's house.
