Will go back even though it was 19 miles and 31 minutes, to get there.
Is likely a fun place for Village Buffaloes and others.
We got there at 12 not many people there (bar was almost full) but it got packed about an hour later with double deep at the bar and some people in line out front. The staff is on top of it. Great Experience and I had no fly issues either.

Is there a reason this place would have more flies than other restaurants that have inside/outside bars? IIRC there are quite a few. I’m only part time so my memory may be wrong but Bluefin, prima (maybe they had a door and separation), McGrady’s. I feel like there are others.

Exactly, The person that started the concern on this post did not indicate they had ever been there. I agree, the whole state is open air so not sure why the comment?

I believe Cody's has air curtains to keep the pests out. They should have them at Boosters.

As it gets cooler flies are going to become much less of a problem.

Why should they have them at Boosters? What was your experience there?

Do I have to go there to decide if I don't like flies swarming around my table? Were the other posters fabricating?

This review showed that house flies carry a large number of pathogens which can cause serious infections in humans and animals. More studies are needed to identify new pathogens carried by the house fly.
A systematic review of human pathogens carried by the housefly (Musca domestica L.) - PMC

Also it is a major health violation. District Bar & Kitchen in Ocala:
High Priority - Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Observed three flies in kitchen ear dish area.

Contamination of food, utensils, and equipment from flies, roaches, and other pests.
Hygiene Codes and Standards | Florida Department of Health

Most restaurants with outdoor dining that I am familiar with keep their outside doors closed.

Sam Adam’s is $6.00 at ti era no matter what time. Of all bars in the villages never saw premium beers half price. Let me know if you have seen any other place.

The one poster who made that claim quite possibly was fabricating, particularly in light of the several others who didn’t mention flies and the poster who specifically mentioned there were no flies.

You can know you don’t like flies swarming around your table but you *do* have to go there to know whether that the single poster is not “fabricating.”

2 for 1 at the squares. I haven’t paid much attention to other places.

Flies seem to enjoy Boosters as well. With 'open' dining room there are flies everywhere in the Dining Room.
This is not something a long time poster is going to make up.

My friend also checked it out and he saw a few flies around the table so they do have an issue with them. Some days may be worse than others depending on factors like the weather or surroundings that are conducive for flies.

And if they are in the dining room then it is highly likely they are also in the kitchen and bar area.

I heard about the "flys" on a facebook post. The cooler weather should keep the flies away. I will not eat in a restaurant that has flies or roaches or rats.

Flies are the reason we will never go back to The Freezer in Homosassa. And we were sitting "inside", although the place is wide open.
