Default Brunch at Bonifay

Two buffet lines available. One has covered chafing dishes. The other with identical items is on a tabe with no covers on the items or a sneeze barrier, a clear violation of Florida Dept. of Health regulation. (Clearly unsanitary under the rules)

Sorry, can't too worked up over it. We have eaten there many times and not gotten sick. We like the food and this will not deter us from going. What one should worry about is people using using the serving utensils with unclean hands. Just our opinion. If this concerns you guys so much, talk to the manager or call the health dept. and complain.

Probably b/c the majority of people do NOT know about health code violations. I say that alot of sicknesses that a lot of ppl suffer from come from eating in restuarants that don't practice those health codes....

Probably because we generally know everyone there and can see the food at all times. We're much more tolerant of friends than strangers. Besides, what's a little e-coli among friends?
What about shaking hands with strangers and kissing friends? I prefer the hand "bump" instead of the hand "shake". I taught the bump to my 92yo mother and she prefers it too. There are a lot of germs floating around assisted living homes.

If anyone ever gets Salmonella from eating in a restuarant that will put some sense in them......

Keep your immune system up (80% of it is in your gut- take your probiotics) and you can handle most of the stuff floating around. Remember the old days when there wasn't so much concern for antiseptic living. I feel that alot of the problems have come up because of so much focus on antibacterial soaps etc. That isn't to say that general common sense and moderation is abandoned. Just that there are so many ways that we take the natural healthy bacteria from our system and leave ourselves open to whatever comes by. The body has natural oils and healthy microbes that protect us if we eat properly and use common sense. Lots of literature out there about getting too "clean". The Master Tonic (google it) is a great way to get rid of anything "foreign" and it's easy to make. Then you can go among any crowd in TV and feel "protected". JMHO

Don't forget to put a sneeze barrier on your head at the town squares

If you do not approve of it why mot speak to the management instead of posting in on a blog? Or just stay away.

Do you think they have sneeze barriers in the kitchens where all the food is prepared? Just another reason not to do buffets( gut stuffers).
