Default Burger King on 466

We stopped in at the Burger King on 466.I ordered a Junior Whopper with fries.I was told they were out of fries and only had onion rings. While at the counter a lady came up and said there were no small lids out for her drink. Then a man came up and said the soda machine was out of diet Coke. There was no ketchup for the onion rings. When my wife went up to get ice cream, was told "we're out of ice cream." This was about the third time I can remember that they were out of ice cream. When I mentioned all this to the shift manager she said ,"sorry I was off yesterday." HUH?

I have tried to order a shake at this BK at least 3 times over the past 6 months .
Each time I am told " our shake machine just broke down ".

We had a similar experience and called the number for customer comments. I received a phone call from a district mgr and was told she was coming here to check things out. That was three weeks ago. However, she did send me two free meals. Whoopee!

Default Same experience with BK on 466

I don't go to that Burger King at all because of the same things. Glacial service, staff who doesn't care at all, and shortages of everything. Kind of reminds me of TGIF towards the end not having enough glasses. Maybe they're not renewing their lease?

Don't eat at BK all that often but have run across these types of problems with BK no matter where I have gone. I don't think it's just a "local" problem.

I do think it is local because
The BK in Johns Creek Ga is excellent, never ran out of stuff like the one here.
And a shame, b/c the milk shakes are decent ( for the price), as well as the soft serve ice cream which we used to get for .50 cents!

Ordered satisfries the other day and they were out of those too. Then the pop machine ran out of ice. I wish they would get it together.

I had no intent on commenting about my experience at the BK on 466 until I saw this thread. I went to this BK last month and was surprised at the overall poor appearance of the restaurant ( floor looked dirty and the counter was not clean ). Surpringly, I could not find any salt packages or shakers and when I asked the manager for salt, she told me they were out of salt. That was a first for me and then after getting my room temperature burger and fries, I threw most of it away and vowed never to return. Without a doubt, the worse fast food experience I've had.

There is no excuse for this type of operation. Plain & simple very poor management. One would think that corporate headquarters would want to know & jump all over the managers to make it right. I haven't yet but plan to contact headquarters for Taco Bell in regards to the dirty appearance we recently witnessed. None of the employees seem to be overly busy whenever we've been there and yet we have to search for a clean table.

Sounds like BK is overdue for a health inspection. Obvious corner-cutting usually indicates not-so-obvious corner-cutting.

Ditto for us. This is the worst managed BK we have ever encountered and have vowed to never go there again. We have been to the BK in Spanish Springs and have no complaints about it's operation.

Many years ago I had a job driving a milk truck. I had a lot of restaurants on my route that ran the gamut from "upscale" to mom & pop diners and both Wendy's & BK. If you have a job like that and you are in and out of the kitchens you wind up learning a whole lot of things that you'd rather not know.

People would be very surprised to find out how many of the kitchens in so-called "fancy/upscale" eateries are just plain dirty. On the other hand I had a cheap mom & pop diner that didn't look like much from the outside yet you could eat off the floor of their cooler.

On my route the most consistently clean stores were the Wendy's restaurants that I delivered to.

But just because it looks nice on the outside, or even at the counter it's not an assurance that things are so pretty back in the kitchen & the coolers.
