Okay, was there for lunch today. Everything was great, the meal and the service. But, a couple did walk in and were seated on the outside patio with their large dog. They tried to keep him seated under the table. He was on a regular leash so he probably wasn't a service dog.

Guess Cody's has gone to the dogs even before their grand opening.

I always chuckle. It seems like almost every restaurant thread turns into a dog and a smoking thread.

Hope the dogs don't start smoking or inhaling the smoke on the patio.

We had dinner there recently. Prime rib was good, salad bowl mixed table side was good but it was incredibly noisy with the restaurant being full with loud music. Hard to hear conversation with the couple we were having dinner with.

We had dinner there a couple days ago and it was great. Just as good as the one at LSL.

My husband and I went to the new Cody's last week. While the posts so far indicate good experiences, ours was not. I like to try new things and decided to try their short ribs.

Well -- I have never seen short ribs such as what they served. The size was hardly worth the price. The iceing on the cake was that they were so salty, they were inedible. I don't know why so many restaurants feel they must oversalt food, particularly when most of the customers in TV are so salt conscious.

We probably won't be going to that Cody's in a long time. We'll stick to LSL Cody's when we feel like going.

What did the server or the manager say when you told them about it? I am sure they tried to make it right in some way.

A while ago a group of us went to LSL Cody's. A friend got scallops that were tough and so dry due to overcooking. She told our waitress and a short time later the manager brought over a new platter! She ate the whole platter. Always let management know.

Nothing worse than a pooch in a chair that puffs

Only thing worse is a bunch of them also playing cards.
