They make an excellent Butterburger. Better than any of the other fast food places here in the Villages IMHO.

I am a little too sensitive for NOTHING.

Did have the guy who brought out the Culver's food tell me that it was a "privilege" to serve me. That was nice. I had hoped to get the really cute blonde girl to bring the food even if she was probably about 18, if that. An old guy like me can look after all, still.

The guy who also took my order said something to me extra but I did not quite catch it. Facebook has been VERY good to me of late.

I rarely get fast food though so not sure when I will go back to Culver's.

I would feel uncomfortable having someone say to me that it’s a privilege for him or her to hand me a burger. It’s a burger, not the congressional Medal of Honor. That only cheapens the meaning of the word privilege and how it should be used, typical corporate BS.

I believe there was something else going on there , wiotte. But we often see what we want to see and ignore the rest.

I kind of doubt that they tell each customer it was a "privilege" to bring their food over.

Culver's does have some good food.

My wife and I ate there last and our bill was $57 and some change; oh, did I mention we also bought supper for 3 Paramedics/EMT’s; we do it every chance we get for those in public service that put their lives on the line.

My wife got the cod dinner and I got the butterburger; they were good.

That is a great thing to do. I try to celebrate the service of first responders on Facebook all I can but could not afford YET to do something like you do for them. Hat's off.

What a wonderful and generous gesture of a thank you..I will be thinking of your family, and many more great Americans, everytime I hear the the iconic American song God Bless the U.S.A...

Years ago we were visiting family @ Laguna Hills,Ca--went out to eat , @ a table adjacent to us there was group of 4 young people ,3 guys and 1 gal--by their look I kinda knew they were marines--asked them"are you all marines, they replied & they were just back from deployment"
h
got up ,found the mgr., told him to tell people on the table next to us" their money is no good tonight", when they would ask for the bill. their meal is on a retired sailor

I prefer to do my 'good deeds' in anonymity...and not share the details.

I once had a very smart person tell me that even in anonymity, no nice or giving gesture...is truly altruistic.

Because even if one does it solely to make oneself feel better...that's still an ulterior motive.

Which is fine...as I can live with that.

I kind of doubt that they don't...say it to each customer.

It's simply good business sense.

Please say south of the mason Dixon line, no road runners up here, so you won't be impressed unless you go to WaWA
