I notice a few people are adamant about not eating anywhere a dog dines. How do y'all handle an invitation to dine at a dog owner's home?

Also, if in the real world we have to tolerate (according federal law) service dogs inside a restaurant, why is it such a big deal to have dogs in an outside dining area?

I wonder if there are any dog owners like me working in these restaurants that can spot the " unfriendly " a mile away. The best they can hope for would be kibble in their food. The worst is a popular thread here.
