Thumbs up Bonefish, One Of Our Favorites

We love going to Bonefish. They really are a class act. They have some of the best food and service around !
We like to sit at the bar. The bartenders are all so nice. Actually we like all the employees.
They have a great happy hour. Martinis aren't under happy hour, but they are soooo good !! All fresh squeezed juices and some of the most unique garnishes.
They start everyone out with their yummy bread and herbed oil (or butter if you want). It's the best bread around !
A lot of times we get the Bang Bang Shrimp or Chicken.
Yesterday I got the Corn Chowder with Lump Crab. It is full of lump crab and so delicious ! It's only $6.50 a bowl. Makes for a great meal with the bread.
I order this a lot !!
My favorite meal is Lily's Chicken with goat cheese, spinach and artichoke hearts. Hubby likes the Fontina Chop.
For those that haven't gone to Bonefish, I highly recommend you try it.
Those of you that do go, you know what I'm talking about.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and keep warm !!

I would agree with about everything you say Bonny, but I would add that we find Red Lobster just about as good and somewhat less expensive. Have had good food and good service at both, but for some reason Red Lobster is a bit easier to get a table, and almost equally good. Just one couples opinion.

Bonefish is definitely our favorite restaurant in The Villages. We've never been disappointed. I especially enjoy the PEI mussels.

On Christmas Eve after church we tried Bonefish and it was lined up out the door. We headed over to Red Lobster. We were seated immediately, and had a very good meal. The only thing I don't like about Red Lobster is those addictive cheese rolls, they are way too tasty, and they keep filling up the basket. Yummy.

I just got home from Bonefish with Mrs. Buggy.

We went early since we skipped lunch today due to places we were running around to.

We sat at the bar and those bartenders are super-friendly. We started out with the PEI mussels and they were the best we have had at Bonefish. We then split an order of Bang-Bang tacos that came with a side. We chose the sauteed spinach. Very good dinner and very reasonable price.

I only have one complaint about Bonefish. Their club soda for mixing comes out of a "soda gun" and is often not as carbonated as I like it. I found a perfect solution. I bring my own club soda, put it on the bar and ask for the liquor in a glass with ice. It is the same price if you have their club soda or if you bring your own. No, I am NOT just ordering a glass with ice and pouring my own club soda.

One of our favorites as well. We usually go around 8:00 when it starts to get less crowded and sit at the bar. Bread, house salad and bang bang shrimp or Calamari with a bottle of wine.

Went to Bonefish with San Fran Dianne tonite for happy hour.

Great bang bang shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops and 2 caesar salads.

Most importantly, we wound up sitting at the bar next to Bonny and husband. (You know you have made it in TV when you wind up sitting next to Bonny at a bar)..........

The woman practices what she preaches.

Great service from Dawn our bartender.

I went to Bonefish and had a delicious meal. I guess I am having a senior moment as I can't remember exactly what I ate but is was yummy. It was to the best of my memory shrimp, lobster and crab meat mixed together in some sort of soft bun type arrangement. Help me out here folks!!!.
A couple of drinks and I left satisfied. The service was great.

I definitely would go back for another meal.

BTW - I was at Cody's tonight for a two for one fajhita night. Yummy.

Plan on getting there earlier than 5 PM as we walked in the door, and had a 45 minute wait. It was wall to wall people. The snowbirds are here!!!! Still worth the wait, as we got even, by eating a lot of free peanuts.

We were at Codys last night, big crowd. Can't beat those 2 for 1 fajitas !!!
They are definitely back !! Bonefish was jammed.
It's awesome though cause everyone gets to make some extra moola. They all need that, bartenders, servers and restaurants !!!

So true as they help support the businesses we love to frequent, and add money to TV economy. Go snowbirds!!!!
