After looking at yesterdays public relations article and pictures of their typical food (in the Daily Sun & the unmentionable news )--nachos & burgers-- IMHO Guy's won't be around much longer--PR is used to help keep a sinking ship afloat

After a myriad of threads over the years of concerns questions complaints of poor and cold food, bad service and long waits why do people frequent restaurants so many times during a week?

Hypothetically say in January thru March we have 100,000 people here and each person goes to said restaurant once. That number equals 1,111.11 people per day going out for food. Even if you cut the hundred thousand to 50,000 that’s a bunch of people going to a restaurant once and never returning. Hence the long longs of I tried it and won’t return. We have no ties to any restaurants and if we don’t like the food we express our opinions to staff and sometimes here.

Profits? Now why would anyone want to make a profit? A good restaurant should just give away the food and drink here in TV. Of course, it better be good !

The review in the online newspaper was written by me, not for public relations but as a follow up to a story I did in April 2017 in the online paper about Fieri's coming to The Villages. It was not a paid story nor was I paid to write it. It was just a review with no other purpose but that.

As far as I am concerned we should be happy to have a Guy Fieri's here and a Wolfgang Puck coming. Both add positive name recognition to our restaurant listings.
