I have not had the one at Cane, however, for really good prime rib, go to Alfies on 25 on a Monday night. 32 ounce prime rib for 2.

Glad to hear someone mention Alfies. Last week I tried the 8oz ten buck lunch prime rib. First I asked the waitress if they really roast it in the kitchen, and she said yes. So I figured that it was worth the price just to satisfy my curiosity. Well it was tender, juicy, and cooked med rare just right.

My husband had Cane Garden Prime Rib last night. He said it was okay, nothing special. Like most of the country clubs you don't get decent sides with the meal. He would not order it again.

We had the Prime Rib about 2 weeks ago at Cane, thought it was very tasty, not a lot of fat and the service was great.

Had the prime rib at Cane last night. It was okay, not great. I like my prime rib, or any steak for that matter, at least an inch thick. The Cane pr was about a half inch thick. It was acceptable for the price.

It is "meh", thin and not a great cut or quality of meat. But "OK" for the price. Try it and see for yourself. I would not take company there for it, as they might have Saturday night at a good steak house expectations. It is what it is for the price.
