We ate dinner last night at Koyami. Great food; Great service; Great prices;
What more can a guy ask for?

I always wonder why a Chinese/Thai restaurant has a Japanese name

The waitress yes's us to death about what we wanted, food came out wrong.

Owner mgr came over re made it with a very poor attitude.

The food was still so so at best, another couple with us wasn't going back either.

The place had zero atmosphere, like a take out.

We stick to (3)Sukura, (2)Thai Ruby and my favorite (1)Bamboo Bistro

Thanks. I knew there was a place or places you liked from a former post; just couldn't remember which ones. Need this for when our kids come down for Christmas. Any of the three you would recommend for sushi?

Jimbo was this during lunch service? I've had both good and bad experiences there. Both of the bad experiences were during lunch service when it seems that different people run the place than the dinner service.

Well, a decent size portion for one. That and a fortune cookie with the winning Lotto numbers.

Also my favorite "chinese" food in TV. I put chinese in parenthesis because they do have some Thai dishes also. The hot and sour soup is perfectly balanced, the pan fried dumplings are light and delicate and look so perfect when they come out that they should be signed and framed. They do something different with their Pad Thai that makes it taste lighter. I love it! I have not yet tried out the Asian restaurant that's across from Moe's, but a neighbor told me he enjoyed that too.

No need to trash palace because the food came out wrong, give it another chance. As far as quality last time I was at Thia Ruby quality was not up to par, but I'll try it again. As for atmosphere, it's a Chinese restaurant they don't know what atmosphere is, but it was clean.
