Default La Plaza Grande

I've had a senior moment; the name of the restaurant is Fiesta Grande Mexican Grill.
Sorry for the confusion.

My wife and I ate Sunday lunch at Fiesta Grande in Colony Plaza. It was our first visit to this new restaurant and were delighted. The restaurant was bright and clean and chips and dip were put on the table as soon as we were seated.

A very attentive waitress named Sophia took our orders and brought our soft drinks very quickly, refilling them when they became low.

Our meals arrived without much delay and were very flavorful and, most importantly, very fresh. There were 3 kinds of hot sauce on the table in case you like a little more heat, as I do; although the tamale didn't really need it.

We're definitely putting this eatery on our favorites list and will try their more ambitious entrees for dinner very soon. Right now I'd have to say that I like this place the best of the 3 Mexican venues in TV, at this point.

So now when someone sez meet you at La Plaza Grande it could be a restaurant in Colony Plaza or the main strip mall on 441.

GREAT!!!

I'm probably only moments away from my next senior moment.

I do this all the time. You know what's going to happen now? Every time I refer to that restaurant I'm going to call it by the wrong name and my wife is going to roll her eyes.

Oh well; but FIESTA GRANDE did serve us a wonderful meal, and we did have a wonderful server and we will be going back to FIESTA GRANDE.

(I'm hoping if I say it often enough I might remember it)

Did something like that with my oldest son's birthdate - told people at work it was the 23rd when it was the 22nd (or the other way around?).

Default First Time Visit

Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. All was well except the refried beans on the combo platter. Was like water. Asked the waiter if it was always like this, and he said, "depends when you get here and if they add water to them. It was at 5:15pm, and they should be fresh and ready.

He did not offer to bring some better beans or something else.
Problem I observed was that there was no management on duty and young servers and staff they were not tuned in or in a position to observe any problems.
