Sorry, not true. A fable running around on the internet. I will bet $10 you have not performed the measurement yourself and found venti is the same as small.

If somehow it actually was true, there would be a multibillion dollar class action lawsuit worldwide.

Average in Denmark is around 35% in taxes. I'm sure most people would rather be paid $22/hour instead of the $12/hour average at McDonalds in Florida even with an extra 10% being paid towards taxes, not to mention the paid vacation and free health care.

Collecting social security is "Big Brother" taking care of people, and I don't see many people around here complaining about that.

Not in my case I paid in 48 years. Big brother can keep care of me after I get my amount paid in.

I love going to McDonalds for breakfast.
I use their receipt coupon, order 2 suage McMuffins with egg, a senior coffee for $4.75, (was $4.64 a couple months ago)

Sure bets spending $14.00 plus tip for breakfast.

I think there is a difference between "eating there frequently" and "eating there occasionally". All things in moderation is a good guide in my mind. We eat fast food 3 or 4 times a month.

When we eat fast food more than that I see a definite increase in weight and my PCP yells at me.

I have no idea what the tax system is like in Denmark, but most people in this country making $12.00 per hour pay zero in income tax.

Social security is a closed system where only people that have paid into it receive benefits. The amount of benefits that people receive is determined by how much they put in. It's very different than having everyone receiving the same benefits while some people have paid nothing.

And I don't know many people who think that social security pays for everything in their life.

Please don't compare social security to widespread socialism.

Lots of people on this site want to believe the Starbucks fairy story , you know the ones that tell you how the $5.00 coffee is not worth it well those drinks may not be my favorite but someone is buying them , I get a very nice small black coffee in very comfortable surroundings there for $ 2 and change and leave a $1 , I suppose I’ll hear from the ones that are going to tell me what awful cause they support , well out of the thousands of causes they support I’m sure most can find one but me I don’t care
