Would be interested in reading a review of someone that went there to eat recently...??

I was last there about 2 months ago and that was prob the 10th time I have eaten there in the last 3-4 years. I tend to eat there when I travel I-75 to the Tampa area but often get my Mex fix in Tampa at the now legendary Taco Bus.

Anyway .... that last time it was just the same .... very good Tex Mex. IMO, better then the "local" TV Mex places that I find bland ... including: the place on the historic side near the PO, the awful place in SS, the one's in Colony and WW are good (and about the same) ... but I rate Red Coyote as better and worth the drive.

BTW ... by "bland" I do not mean, not hot. I mean a simple lack of seasoning to give it flavor. I can (and do) add enough hot sauce / salsa to make it hot, but if the under lying food is bland ... it will just be bland food with hot stuff on it.

The Friday night I was there about a month ago they were offering a fajita special for $7 plus.........it was a substantial dish that the people with me ordered. I ordered a pork dish off the menu that the waiter suggested. All left that night satisfied and the bill was relatively inexpensive.

Thanks for the suggestion, Aria. This sounds like a very good Mexican restaurant and I think we'll give them a try. Out of curiosity, do they advertise on TOTV or do you do that for them? ;-) .

I am not advertising for them but simply am offering an opinion of the place that I hope others would do the same. As I am not from this area I am trying to find restaurants where folks have had an enjoyable experience.
