Default Chinese Buffets

Is it me or am I correct on this one?

We've been to Evergreen and China Buffet and were unimpressed with both.

Evergreen seemed a little better, but neither was up to the standards of Chinese buffets we have been to in other areas.

Is there somewhere else we need to try, even if it is "outside the bubble"?

We were never able find good chinese in the villages. We have found the best in Leesburg. Ichiban. give it a try. worth the ride.

If you like sushi, Koy Wan in altamonte Springs is awesome. They also claim in their advertising to be the largest Chinese buffet in Florida.

Also Ocean Buffet in Ocala is very good.

Don't care for Chinese Buffets. Always get the feeling I'm getting left overs. LOL

Ditto to Koyame. Not a buffet but the best Chinese food in TV. IMHO

I'll try it. Sounds good.

But sometimes I get in the mood to have it all...at a _good_ Chinese buffet.

Good luck on finding a good Chinese buffet in Florida, period. At least I've had no luck from Key West to the Panhandle. But, then, I've been extremely spoiled when it comes to Chinese food coming from San Francisco.

I'll second the Ocean Buffet but we go to the one in Gainesville, near the mall right off I75. It's mostly seafood but lots of sushi, wonderful fish and they also have a beef and ham entree. There are 8 huge buffet servers. Lunch there for seniors was under $7.00!

The Chinese Super Buffet in Clearwater is very good...well prepared (and labeled) sushi, a grill, and tons of good quality Chinese dishes to pick from. It's one of the things I miss from pre-retirement...heheh.

We love Ichibond (however you spell it) Right outside the mall is Leesburg. Hate Evergreen. We come from NY.

We come from NY too, I spent many years working Downtown and had hundreds of meals in Chinatown and we like Evergreen. It isn't NY Chinese food but it's very good for what it is.

Our motorcycle club frequents the China Lee Buffet in Ocala.

It is not buffet - however I would avoid Bamboo Bistro!

Expensive for the quality of food you get and it just does not taste very good.
