The 8 to 4 hours are probably for the nursery, not the BBQ.

I do believe they are "seasoning" their BBQ grill. This is a must in the business.

Maybe they will get open in time for the January Rush and increased population of TV. I hope this "Mom & Pop" will be ready for that "rush"!!

I've tried the Oakwood restaurant that alot of people rave about but for my money I think Woody's on Rte 301 in Wildwood right near the turnpike entrance is better BBQ.

The best bbq is Sugarboos in Mt. Dora. Google it.

I know it's been a while since your above message was posted, but I just noticed it for the first time and also think that those that answered the question as to where it is may have misinturpeted the question, or it could be that I'm the one misunderstanding it. They were answering relating to the new rib place on 466A and I'm thinking you asking about Oakwood. If you were asking about Oakwood on 441/27, it's in Lady Lake about 3/4 of a mi. north of Fruitland Park.

Smile Bbq

Rather than wait for the new place to open try the Texas Stockyards restaurant on 441 just south of TV. We ate there recently and couldn't believe that we thought the BBQ was BETTER than Oakwoods. The BBQ stuffed baked potato was delicious.
