Default Love Waffle House!

I love Waffle House and will be happy not to drive to Leesburg to go! We just got back to TV this week, so will probably go next week or sometime soon

We are one and done at waffle houses. About 9 years ago we stopped at a Waffle House for breakfast off 95 around the Richmond, VA area on our drive south to our Villages home. When we walked in we quickly realized we were the only people in the place without dark skin. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, while watching others that walked in behind us get promptly seated. We decided to find our own seats and then waited about another 20 minutes to get a menu, while several other folks that came in behind us were already getting service. After wasting about 35 minutes, we came to the obvious conclusion that we were most definitely never going to get served in that establishment. We walked out hungry, disappointed, and disillusioned. Needless to say, we’ll never set foot in a Waffle House again.

Waffle House has halted construction temporarily because of the egg crisis. I work for the company.

Don't give up on it because of one bad experience. We had a similar experience at one WH (in GA I believe).... we don't go to that one WH anymore. The next one we found, about five miles down the road, provided the good service we expected. We've eaten at a dozen over the years and that is the only one we wouldn't go back to.

My wife and I went there the other night for the steak and lobster tail combo. The place was packed, so we left, went to BJs next door, and ate a hot dog. All is well.

Hopefully they actually have donuts during open hours. The newer one on Warm Springs barely had any whenever I stopped in, so I go elsewhere. Maybe that is why they no longer use 'Donut' in their name. Want to focus on drinks.

Let me guess: Waitress trainee that overheard the new cashier's brother's friend who used to know someone who's cousin had inside info?

Believe it or not, there are still people living “up here in the north Villages,” and we appreciate having the Waffle House located here.
