85 decibels is the threshold where hearing damage begins. At 85 dB, you have 8 hours of safe exposure. Every 3 dB increase cuts that time in half. At 100 dB (a typical concert), you have just 15 minutes before permanent damage can occur.

Expect lawsuits soon with decibel documentation

Posted by a few, beers is less than an $1 per ounce.

Oak and Stone craft beer .55-.68 oz. Up north we have dozens of breweries, beer is only available at that brewery. Flight is $8-11. (4) 3oz per glass. So maybe little more technical $amount.

Last night we poured 1 (4) glasses of porter from 4 well know craft brewery’s $5.65 all excellent.
1 flight with 2 sours, red, lager, $5.13. Each flight total 12oz. Is there a bar in TV other than world of Beer, that serves tap craft beer?

Oak and Stone not for those who drink Bud because it cheap. The wall for those who enjoy craft beer and sours, will appreciate the always changing wall. The option to try craft beer new to you is definitely a plus. That’s how we found Lefthanded (Colorado) & 3 daughters near Tampa5 years ago.

If you are drinking empty calories craft beer worth $$. If you are drinking just to drink, ABC or Publix twofer would be a better option.

Yes the interior is loud, but the clientele is far younger than most residents are accustomed. If you want quieter bars 95% are available anywhere in TV.

Haha! A lawsuit because the restaurant wasn't shushing the other customers enough? How did they prevent you from walking out the door to escape the noise?

Most of the tables (not all) were full when we visited and the bar seats didn't stay empty very long. We were able to have a pleasant conversation with a few of the bartenders without yelling.

No doubt it can get louder with more of a crowd but 100+ dBs?

It is possible acoustics will change once the large garage doors are opened in the front of the business. They are all glass and metal framing from the floor to ceiling representing a significant part of its northwestern wall.

Its a less than 10 minute walk from my house, and I don't mind noise so I'm sure I will go there soon. It is nice to finally getting more choices in Eastport. $10/pint for beer is a bit pricey, but I'll live with it. $20 hamburgers doesn't phase me a bit, that has become pretty standard.

Default Oak and Stone environment

I stopped in while they were training staff last week.
So noisy in ther (an only half full) I suggested to staff they hang sound absorbing pads from ceilings like flags, that would help. Unitl its more quite, cant go there.

We have frequented 3 different locations prior to Eastport opening. It’s a chain, the noise factor with the doors open, can actually become louder and little chaotic.

If you’ve been to Fords Garage, open doors rarely equal less noise, but more client space. It’s a younger clientele, and the southern portion of TV is definitely a younger gen.

I equate O&S as the bar everyone can gather after activities or work (think work at home, Middleton family, young adults and parents. It’s a fun atmosphere, with no waiting (unless taps are clogged with first timers) for drinks, no tab to keep track on who’s paying.

Bartenders have less responsibility, for tracking the alcohol amount, and when one needs food it’s available. As far as the tiny bathrooms, same layout as the other locations, think younger clientele better bladder control

They won’t be laughing when Morgan and Morgan comes knocking. The evidence is already documented here.
