Just ate pizza at Pauly's for the first time last night. It was really good. Sorry it is closing. We enjoyed the folk singer that was there also. Where are we suppose to get pizza? ( please don't say Pizza Hut). I don't want upscale pizza, I just want GOOD pizza.

I'm sorry,,, LMAO... a pizza joint called "Flippers"????? Can't help but think about that old TV show about the dolphin?????

Had pizza at Pauly's back in '08 for the first time and loved it. Unfortunately because of my diet program, haven't been back until recently, it was still FABULOUS!!! Can't say I'll miss it cause I'm still dieting, but I just love it when a place is so consistent in their quality level. I will go back, wherever they land, and will frequent it more when I'm off this bloody diet!!

We were in Pauly's last night and purchased a gift certificate for my husband's sister and teenaged niece and nephew who are here for Christmas. The young lady who checked us out said it had to be used by Dec. 30 because Pauly's couldn't get the lease renewed.

I told her I'd heard they were moving and reopening somewhere else. She said another business got the lease at Sante Fe before the owner of Pauly's could get a contract signed, but that he's still looking. Take all of this with a grain of salt because it was coming from a young lady working the register at Pauly's. Anyway, I said that it sounds to me like you won't be opening anytime soon if he doesn't have a lease yet.

She said he's negotiating with someone else that will be a very central location so everyone can be served (whereever and whatever that would mean, I don't know). The cashier said the owner would not divulge the location of the place he's trying to get leased now.

I tried folks, but that is all the info I could get. I do know when I asked for a menu to put in my gift basket for the twins, she said they didn't have any menus. That didn't sound good.

Pauly's is gone. Closed the doors and moved the interior contents and equipment out yesterday, one day earlier than they said and before the kids could use the gift certificate.

We talked to the owner as they were loading a truck. He said it would be 4 to 5 weeks before they've reopened. He said he is negotiating for a new lease at an undisclosed location because of a privacy clause in the lease. Now, who has a privacy clause in a lease?

Default The "other" Pauly's

I remember when the Pauly's located in Palm Ridge closed they had a sign on the door that said to watch for a new location along 466.

I have been watching since around July but have not seen a reopening for them.
