I went to Lopez in December and prime rib was no longer on the menu. Sad. Sad. Sad.

If you want to get away from TV try Vic Embers in Leesburg. I don't recommnd the blackened version because they put a lot of spices on the meat and overpower the flavor of the meat. Another place is The Rusty Duck on Hwy 44 west of Wildwood. Actually 25 miles from the I-75/44 overpass. The place is a dump, looks like a low class biker bar, but you will not be disappointed. Reservations are a MUST and they are only open in the evening. Check the Villlages Gourmet Club for write ups

Alfies' Prime Rib dinner for two is still a bargain around $30. If you love prime rib, then Alfies' still offers the best selection.
