We go for lunch. They make better BLT's (which they call LBT's or something like that) than I could make myself. And their homemade potato salad and coleslaw are excellent.

I have become a fan of Billy's Cafe. They make a great omelette with a mountain of hash brown of potato's. Pancakes with apples, is delicious also. Come away stuffed, every time.

The first time I went to Rae Rae's, they served a great omelette but the restaurant has been somewhat disappointing, in subsequent visits. Got there after 11 AM one day and asked if I could have breakfast, The waiter said "no", very rudely. He could have said nicely, the policy is that after 11 AM, they serve lunch only.

For me it's not what you say sometimes, but how you say it. Needs a course on customer relations. I love the service at Billy's. Friendly, quick, very accommodating and had breakfast after 11 AM with no problem.

I don't mind the trip to Rae Rae's but my visitors felt, it took too long, to get there! Remember, always closed on Monday's.

BTW - It's hard to screw up, a breakfast meal!

I like their biscuits so much I've never even considered going for lunch. A yummy BLT with tasty sides sounds awfully good, though. Thanks for the recommendation.

We've been there many times for breakfast and a couple of times for lunch and have always been very pleased with food and service. Tim bends over backwards to provide a pleasant experience in my opinion.

2468 US Hwy 441/27, Fruitland Park, FL . 466 to right on 441. It's on the right in a small strip mall just past Fair Oaks Dr., before you get to 466A. Next-door to Confessore Pasta Cucina.
