Default This Restaurant should ALWAYS be busy, but isn't

Siam Orchid! I really do not understand why this place isn't packed every day. Both the food and the service are some of the best I have experienced here in TheVillages.

The owner "Boon" seems to make it his personal goal to meet and greet every customer. He will sometimes be the guy that greets you at the door, sometimes he'll be your waiter, and sometimes the cook. That man does everything! The food is always extremely fresh and very very good

Unfortuanely, every single time my wife and I make a trip to Siam Orchid, there are only a handful of customers, Maybe 5 at the most? While this is great for the customer, I'm not sure if it's good for the owner. I really would hate to see this place go. There are some reviews posted here on The Villages Gourmet Club website - http://thevillagesgourmetclub.home.c...b/page1.html#S .

Please, if you have not been to Siam Orchid would you make an effort to try it at least once, see how you like it and let everyone know? If you have already been there, and love the place as much as I do, try to make it over there more often?

Siam Orchid serves Thai Cuisine and is located on 441 "almost" directly in front of The Villages Regional hospital.

My wife and I have lunch there and it seems to have a good turnout with the local businesses in the area.

Last time we were there (two weeks ago this Saturday), it was very busy. Nonetheless, the food and service were excellent. Truly some of the best food around, and such pleasant, speedy service.

Anyone who has not tried this restaurant is missing out on a terrific dining experience.

Default Siam Orchid

My wife and I usually eat at the Siam Orchid at least once per month, and try to bring friends, at times we have as many as ten at our table; however, I too wonder how "Boon" can stay in business with so many empty tables during the dinner hours. The menu is extensive and the food is always fresh. His wife is a wonderful cook, and most of the dishes make you feel you are at his home, not a restaurant. I urge all villagers to try this wonderful exotic Thai restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
