I talked to the manager of the new restaurant about a month ago and that is what he told me was mid-march.

The mid March opening target has been "out there" for quite some time.

You would think that a new restaurant owner would have planned the opening of the restaurant a little while BEFORE snowbird season instead of at the end of the season.

I have been to a Texas Road House in other locales. Fun place, good food - very much like Cody's which a great place to eat and drink.

person who owns it has very much control over how fast things get done around here and how many inspections they must go through, how many staff positions must be filled, etc. I'd bet they would've liked to have opened in Jan., but assuming they're able to take all variables into consideration might be expecting to much. There will be other seasons to enjoy.

Texas Roadhouse is the greatest. I eat there all the time up here at home. A delicious steak, potato and salad for 10 bucks....Where will it be located when it opens down there. I'm coming back in March and would eat there every week?

It's in Lady Lake near Sam's Club and the Town of Lady Lake admin building.
Can't miss it if you are driving by at night, the neon lights up 441.

Looking forward to the opening.

It's on the North side of 27/441 just 1/4 mile South of Home Depot. All of the signage is up. My best guess is they'll open in February. It will not be golf cart accessible.

Thumbs down

Has anyone noticed whether they have corrected the Texas flag on top of the building? The Lone Star Flag was being flown upside down! Red facing up, instead of the white field. My wife and I spoke to one of the construction bosses there about 3 weeks ago about the error and he said he would take care of it! A trip to Sam's last week revealed the flag still be flown incorrectly!!!!

Flag was corrected. FINALLY.
The "Opening Team" will not be available until March.
They don't dare open a new location without the experienced team being on site.
They're coming from Hadley, MA. (outside of Springfield) which opens in February.
All locations are corporate owned.
