Default The rubber chicken (formally KFC)

Hadn’t had KFC for several months, so after late doctors appointment thought give it try? IMO need change name to The Rubber Chicken! Thought I was chewing gum plus little taste? I hope it was just off day? But, I highly doubt it? IMO didn’t take long for new location to turn into old location quality IMO of course… I want make sure this is MY opinion and not Facts..

Maybe? But I’m not fan of pot pie’s. I noticed the mashed potatoes and gravy was also little bland.

LOL, went to KFC a couple months ago for the first time in several years. Was expecting the delicious greasy coronary disease cheat meal from the good old days. After about two bites of chewing on a rubber piece of chicken, the rest got chucked into the trash. And all I wanted was the chicken, but they insisted it would cost less if I got the disgusting biscuit that was part of the combo meal. I tossed the biscuit the direction of some ducks on the way home, and they eagerly approached it, but quickly spit it out as soon as they tasted it. Never again, Colonel Sanders is dead!

I think it's the, salt, sugar, methylcellulose, xanthan gum, guar gum, and turmeric extract that makes it so good.

Homemade would be ok, but who has methylcellulose sitting around in their cabinet? Oh wait, maybe they do. It's the major ingredient in Citrocel.

We got some KFC a year ago at the turnpike and I remember it being good. It’s sad to see the Wendy’s, Arby’s, Bob Evan’s and such struggle. It would be interesting if Dave Thomas and Bob Evan’s were still around what they would think. I find it interesting the amount of money Wendy’s (for example) spends on ads when they should pour that into their Restraunts first, IMO

When I was in high school in the early 80s, I was a chef at Kentucky Fried Chicken. I don't recall calling it KFC back then. It was a good job and the chicken was good. The manager and assistant manager were nice, but they would smoke marijuana in the restroom all the time. That was my first job. I haven't eaten there in decades.

They changed the name in 1991.

In South Africa, they said that KFC was for ‘Keep From Cooking.’

In Cambodia, they.said it stood for ‘Krispy Fried Crickets’.

I never was a big fan of it, but I didn’t grow up with fried chicken.

Once in a while, overly processed food is NOT going to kill you.

I'll take "Things That Never Happened" for $1000, Alex.

On the days I want to live dangerously, Twinkies or Oreos would be the processed food of choice. Otherwise, it's like breaking into a jewelry store and stealing a Timex watch.
