Default Evans Prairie...stilll good?

Was wondering if Evans Prairie is still living up to the hype surrounding their grand opening? We had a nice meal there about 2 weeks after they opened; has anyone been there lately? Have they tweaked the menu a bit? Thanks for any and all input.

Hubby and I ate dinner there last night (third time). We enjoyed the food and service was good. Coffee was good too.
No "tweaks in the menu" that I noticed.

Sort of off the thread, but can anyone tell me how many and how big tv screens there may be at Evans Prairie. I have visitors due in on Super Bowl Sunday and was thinking of going to EP for dinner, but was hoping to avoid a "sports bar" atmosphere!

Heretical attitude, I know, but there're one or two folk who don't really care!

I ate there Sunday and had the Southwestern Chicken Pasta. It was terrific. The other three in my party said their food was good, too. Unfortunately, we got there right after 3 large parties had ordered and over 100 dinners were sent to the kitchen at the same time. Considering that, the wait was reasonable but it was long.

Was there about 5:30 today, sat at the bar I was surprised lot of empty seats and no wait for a table. Had a patty melt with coleslaw. Sandwich was very good but the coleslaw was OUTSTANDING!

We were there Sat. with a large group, 30 people for lunch, service was outstanding, staff could not be more helpful, and the food was great!!!1 They worked with us to set it up, and followed thru the day of the luncheon. Kudos to all Jose, Eddie, servers, Mandi, and Britney!!!

I was there last week and had the first really good burger I've had since moving here 3 1/2 years ago. The fries weren't great but the burger was terrific.

My friends and I ended up there at 6:00pm on Sunday Super Bowl Day. As anticipated the crowd was fairly minimal - absolutely no waiting time.

Service was attentive and quick. My top sirloin was cooked to order, but was a bit tough. One of my friends had the pineapple teriyaki salmon and raved. The other had the pork tenderloin and also raved.

We elected to sit inside, as it was fairly chilly, but realized later that the "outside" has overhead heaters, which would probably have made it comfortable. The view is really wonderful!

I will definitely go again!

Had the turkey, apple, bacon wrap and once again it was very good. As I said before the cold slaw is excellent. Nice view from the bar also.

I thought the staff was excellent. Love the salmon blt. Don't order onion rings. I'm betting they're frozen.

I had lunch at Evans Prairie Tuesday and ordered country fried steak. The white sauce was overly peppery. The last time I ordered this item they didn't put much white sauce on it but I don't remember if it was that peppery. This time I asked for more white sauce. Today I went for lunch and ordered the shepherds pie. I was very good. I had german chocolate cake for dessert and that was also very good. All 3 times that I went to Evans Prairie the wait staff was excellent.
