Default Baskin Robbins opening soon in Spanish Plains

In the old Seafood Galley/Siam Orchid building next to Denny’s. There’ll be a Dunkin Donuts there too.

The signs are up.

Mmmm...doughnuts and ice cream. 2 of the essential food groups. Now if they'd combine them with Taco bell and KFC, we'd have a real winner!!

Baskin Robbins........Dunkin' Donuts - - - - just make sure you eat things from these kinds of places in "even numbers". Helps spread the load out evenly.

Thanks for the info, EdVin.

FYI, drove by a little while ago and the're open for business. Has a drive through window too. It'll be convenient for me to grab a quick breakfast or lunch sandwich on the go in my cart.

Is that "even number" thing what they mean by a balanced diet.

From the El Cameno Real side. It is across the street from CFB and up the street from the Sharon Morse building.

It opened today for the first time. I got there around 10am while running my errands. Its very large, lots of room and looks as though it will have a private room for parties?? Not sure on that, but there's a large empty room at the moment on the side of the main dining area.

The staff was delightful with the first day jitters and inexperience, but they all had big smiles and were very accommodating. Hope they don't stop smiling, that means a lot.

Its directly next door to Citizens Bank which is a few doors down from Denny's. I do hope they will stay open late, so I don't have to go to Denny's for coffee after a night of dancing. As usual, the coffee was DELICIOUS!!!!

Years ago before we were not as health "conscious" we were in a Baskin Robbins for some ice cream and the freezer temps had been off for some reason and the oil on top of the ice cream had melted and all the colours had mixed together and were swirled on top. It looked so awful that we haven't been in a BR since and when we do eat that kind of dessert we tend to go for a good frozen yogurt. We did find a local dairy that made ice cream with real cream and distributed it around Ontario and the difference was very noticeable. Haven't search out TV much but do like PeachWave. At this point we eat it so little it has become part of our 20% in our 80/20 thinking, and I am wondering how much oil is in it if any. Are there any local dairies around TV that make ice cream? Also like the ones that add fresh fruit to good ice cream or yogurt.
