Very disappointing. I love TooJays. I understand that the pandemic has effected many businesses especially within the restaurants. But, with the building of apartments in Spanish Springs I fear what might end up at TooJays site there.

According to today's Orlando Sentinel, TooJays is under new ownership and has emerged from bankruptcy. They had 30 stores and closed 9. The stores at Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood are still open.

not "the real thing". Prices nominal, but no where near quality of NY / NJ kosher style restaurants.

Wrong. Sliced cheap meat is not better than higher quality sliced meat. WAWA uses basic lunch meat.

I guess starting that diet when I did was a bad thing for these businesses.
Most of all I feel sorry for the workers trying to provide for their families. The Restaurant Business is a rough way to make a living around these parts. Water, no tip, small tip. Keep it up and we'll be traveling to eat at a decent restaurant or eating fast food on 441. I hope the owners rebound somewhere else. |
