Anyone been to this new restaurant located at 1558 Bella Cruz Drive in TV? Telephone (352) 430-1969.
They opened last week according to workers in one of their neighboring shops. |

Not yet, Tal, but I'll put it on the list of places to try. Is it a pizza place or a full restaurant? Thanks for the info.

I have not been to it just outside of it. But from the menu and the tables inside I would say it is a full restaurant. More like Crispers though than say Red Sauce. |

We got a carryout pepperoni pizza from them last night. It was delicious, but the 18" pizza looked kind of small so we measured it at slightly over 15". The outer crust was 1 1/2" wide without toppings, that leaves 12" in the center with toppings. Very little tomato sauce, not as much pepperoni as I like. They charge more than anyone else in TV for their product so you would think you would get a superior pizza. Needless to say we were disappointed.
We will go back up to Goodfella's in Belleview, they are the best around here. |

I think, apparently, it is to each his or her own.....
We ordered from there tonight as well.....VERY, VERY good.....there was too much pizza for four of us...so I guess we will have left overs!! ![]() The owner, Chris, was GREAT....she was very kind, courteous and very customer oriented! The pizza was exactly how we like it....and they had so much more on their menu!! I suppose everyone just needs to try it....and decide for yourself....I for one will be going back.....

I agree Bogieshooter. Too many times we complain on here but not to the restaurant or business. The business gets a black eye and before long they are out of business. COMPLAIN TO THE BUSINESS FIRST NOT HERE. ONE ISSUE IS NOT WORTH THE BAD KNOCK ON THE BUSINESS. TALK OF THE VILLAGES IS A GREAT SOURCE FOR HELP BUT ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE TAKEN THE PROPER STEPS TO RESO;LVE AN ISSUE.

Sorry folks, but I disagree. I vote with my feet and my wallet. And if I don't like a business or service I receive I go elsewhere. If something is really bad then I will let them know. But if it's just generally not the product or service I want then I don't return. Business needs to realize that 90% of the consumers do exactly that. If they want our input then give us an opinion card or place to show then what we think.
They got a pizza to go. That probably means they took it home and it did not meet their expectation. I would do exactly what they did, go to a place that provided what I knew better met my expectations. Business fail or succeed for a reason. Meeting or exceeding the expectations of their customers. To many times I have or saw others tell a business owner what they felt and be put down for the input. If an owner wants me to return, make sure I leave as a satisified customer. Many places the owner or manager will walk around to the tables and ask if everything is OK. And if not they resolve it on the spot. I will always give those places a second chance.

I don't think it's my responsibility to tell the owners that their 18" pizza is barely 15" with the outer 1 1/2" uncovered with toppings. They should have better oversight with the people that make it. Go to their web site www.fratellipizzuti.com & look at the pizza pictured there, it was nothing like what I got. Skimping on ingredients when you are just starting a new business is not the thing to do. Most do that after they have been successful for a while. As I said it was delicious, but not as advertised.

We dined in last week and brought home a pizza yesterday and were very pleased with the quality of the food. The pizza crust was the best we tasted since we left new York years ago. I place more importance on the taste and freshness of my food than on the quantity of my food. I did not measure my pizza, but it did fill the box.

I agree!!! I can't wait to try the new place. I for one do not judge a place totally on one visit only and also on a visit after they just opened up! Every place needs time to get the "kinks" out and see what appeals to the customer base in their area. I too prefer quality to quantity and since coming here from Chicago. Have yet to find really good authentic Italian food or Pizza. I had like Phils in Belleview the best but after many years they finally retired and it closed the new owner I heard drove it into the ground.
